Why legal education matters.

Bar exam results for the July 2025 test are out. Among those who attended unaccredited in-state law schools, less than 10% passed. Less than ten percent.

At Singing River Law, we're proud to have graduated from "Mr. Jefferson's University" — that is, the University of Virginia School of Law -- which has the highest bar passage rate in the country at 99.2%.

That's ahead of Yale, Harvard, Stanford...you name it.

UVA is #4 overall in the US News & World Report rankings for 2025 - ahead of Harvard, Duke, Penn and Columbia.

And we're #1 where it really matters: Best Professors and Best Classroom Experience (Princeton Review).

The truth is, not all legal educations are created equal. Not even close. There’s simply no comparison between an unaccredited, night-school experience and an immersive, three-year course-of-study at a Top Five national law school like Virginia.

It’s not just apples and oranges. It’s apples — and a picture of a bowl of apples.

And lawyers who haven’t gotten that kind of legal education often find themselves tempted to “fake it” by abusing AI — which famously makes up imaginary cases, makes absurd leaps in logic, and ultimately burns the client. Bad.

If you want AI slop, don't call us.

But if you want a real lawyer with real education, our number is 256.764.0097. We're ready to help you.
